“Kevin Costner Makes a Splash at Myrtle Beach Classic Pro-Am”

Hollywood Stars Hit the Links at Myrtle Beach Classic Pro-Am
The Grand Strand got a taste of Hollywood glamour today as celebrities joined professional golfers for the OneFlight Myrtle Beach Classic Pro-Am tournament.
The Dunes Golf and Beach Club played host to the star-studded event, drawing a crowd eager to catch a glimpse of familiar faces.
Actor and comedian Bill Murray made a surprise appearance, delighting fans with his signature wit. Myrtle Beach native Vanna White also joined the action, along with veteran actor Kurt Russell.
But it was Kevin Costner who made the most dramatic entrance—arriving by helicopter. The Oscar-winning actor shared a humorous first impression of his arrival in Myrtle Beach.
“I came out here on a jet helicopter—I guess they thought I’d be late,” Costner said. “So they put headphones on me and flew me in. I landed in somebody’s yard. So what’s my impression of Myrtle Beach? It felt like hitting the beach in a war—only everyone’s really friendly.”
